Troutdale Kitchens — Restaurant and Dining Business Solution
Troutdale Kitchens (TK) is a family of restaurants and dining service companies located in the Tri-Cities, TN/VA owned by Ben Zandi.Most importantly, TK needed a reliable email platform that would be easy to access across a wide variety of platforms — Outlook, Internet Explorer, Firefox, PC, Mac, Treo, and more. Google Apps Gmail now handles mail for all their employees across multiple cities.
Each business has their own independent needs — ingredients to order, payroll, etc. In the past, they would email spreadsheets around to Ben and other managers. This created multiple copies and serious version problems. Ben's office computer had dozens of versions of various files. Now, the entire enterprise has one central repository for documents, all protected by login access (and encrypted). Ben can modify any document, managers can edit their appropriate documents, and new staff can log in to download employee policies.
