PRESS — NEW TECHNOLOGY COMPANY IN BRISTOL DELIVERS POWERFUL SOLUTIONS FROM GOOGLE
03.03.2009BRISTOL, VA — Bliss Technology, LLC has been formed in Bristol, VA and as "The Google Experts" are approaching businesses and organizations with a set of powerful Google tools that can improve efficiency and save costs. "We're like a Google branch office, but while Google can support your business over the phone, we are here to explain how it can benefit our local businesses and provide installation and training," said Ben Collins, CTO of the new company. "It's important now more than ever that businesses don't waste resources with flawed or ineffective technologies and Google's got the best on the block."
Bliss Technology is a spin-off sister company of The Bliss Agency, a marketing and web development firm. The company was formed to encompass the kinds of technology that The Bliss Agency has been using for over 2 years for clients who hosted website domains with them. Over 40 companies in the Tri-Cities area are using Bliss Technology-implemented Google solutions. "The starting point is someone's domain. As it turns out, Google can handle email at your domain — and it's the best on the planet." Since Google does not actively advertise it's business solutions, as they mature and are ready for market, they depend on independent agencies to implement and train their solutions.
Google Solutions includes email at your domain with a wide array of features and many additional tools such as shared calendars, (collaborative) online documents, email filtering and archiving, custom google maps, self-storage health data, website statistics, and even online advertising using "Google Adwords" to measurably purchase traffic to your website.
"What is important about this new direction for Google is they are providing revolutionary services at proven lower costs by using their powerful "cloud" platform so you can focus on communicating instead of "I-T-ing," said Cam Collins owner of both companies.
They are accepting applications for people-oriented tech-support types. Training Google implementations and support is made easier by a wide array of videos and helpful websites created by Google, Inc.
Ben Collins will be offering a free seminar at the Public Library on Tuesday March 31st, 2009 from 9am — 11am follwed by an hour of availabilty for questions and consulting. Business of any size, non-profits, and organizations should attend — seating is limited.
